Killara Primary has a secret water-saving weapon: its students. Clad in high-vis and with a simple mission to save the planet, Killara’s environmental club trawl the halls looking for water leaks and wasted water. With water-saving initiatives like ice cream tubs below the water fountains and data loggers to detect leaks, these little environmentalists are punching well above their weight when it comes to water saving. But they have a simple message: if we can do it, why can’t you? Watch the story of these water warriors, showing the different initiatives and jobs they do to save water around the school.  The message is simple, and the lesson clear: primary school students are doing their bit for the future, so we can too.”
